We created this new bathroom as part of a duplex-to-cottage conversion. We used one of the upstairs bedrooms to add this bathroom. <\/p>\n

Uncluttered comfort with no frills<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We suggested to the owners that they retain the room’s abundant windows to showcase the bathtub. The shower and sink are more discreet, while remaining functional and well integrated into the overall design.

2- Hochelaga: An Italian-style bathroom for the 21st century<\/span><\/h3>\n

This uncluttered, unusual bathroom remains highly functional. The Italian-style shower is an interesting concept that works well in small spaces, allowing access to the shower without obstacles or even a threshold. <\/p>\n

Simple, user-friendly choices<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The design of this bathroom is very simple. This is a bare bathroom, with no window or shower curtains, and no superfluous accessories. Horizontal fenestration provides plenty of light while protecting occupants’ privacy. The linear wooden countertop adds a warm touch to this Zen concept. The horizontal mirror also does a good job of visually enlarging the space and increasing the brightness of the area. <\/p>\n

We carried out this work as part of a more comprehensive renovation project, including an extension where the bathroom was located.<\/p>\n

In this Montreal residence, our mandate was to renovate two bathrooms: a small powder room and a full master bathroom. The objective: to create two elegant, bright and easy-to-maintain rooms, while maintaining a unity of style between the two spaces. <\/p>\n

Small bathroom: simplicity and balance<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Despite its small dimensions, the small powder room stands out for its sleek design. The custom vanity, matte black handles, wall-mounted faucet and dark countertop contrast subtly with the whiteness of the walls. The result: a minimalist yet warm space, perfectly proportioned and visually uncluttered. <\/p>\n

Large bathroom: warmth, storage and comfort<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The master bathroom combines space and functionality. The long, natural wood countertop adds an organic touch, while white cabinetry with recessed panels maximizes storage. The glass shower with sliding doors and black accessories create a visual coherence with the small powder room. Brass pendant fixtures and a discreet floor pattern add a touch of refinement and softness. <\/p>\n

These two bathrooms perfectly embody the Des Constructions Max Larocque approach: a balance between aesthetics, durability and everyday comfort. Every element – from the choice of materials to the layout of the volumes – has been designed to stand the test of time, while meeting the practical needs of modern life. <\/p>\n

The bathroom in this townhouse had been designed with a corner bathtub that used a lot of space unnecessarily, and a narrow shower that was difficult to move around in. The bathtub and shower required major corrections in terms of design, access and maintenance. <\/p>\n

Too much white can make a room feel cold and impersonal. For this bathroom renovation project, we suggested combining white with wood cabinetry for its warmth and personality.
