How to Optimize a Bathroom Renovation?
The bathroom is often the smallest room in the house. Yet it’s the harder to renovate for many reasons. Whether it’s adding a shower, expending the bathroom, or incorporating a corner bath, any bathroom renovation requires solid expertise. Just ten more square feet in a bathroom can make the difference between a barely functional room and a comfortable bathroom

Satisfying your tastes and needs
Today with the ever growing number of magazines and specialized programs, the expectations of consumers are increasingly large and varied. Whether it’s adding a shower, expending a bathroom, or making it more functional, we offer original and personalized alternatives but, above all, well-adapted to the needs of our customers when comes the time to design a bathroom renovation project.
Our bathroom projects
1- Rosemont : A real «room» bathroom
We realized this new bathroom as part of a conversion from a duplex to a cottage. We used one of the upstairs bedrooms to create this bathroom.
Refined comfort without excess
We suggested to the owners to preserve the keep the numerous windows in the room to highlight the bath-tub. The shower and sink are more discreet while remaining functional and well integrated into the whole.
Transformation from duplex to cottage requires good planning to estimate the costs. Our design-build team is ideal to advise you in this matter.
2- Hochelaga : An Italian bathroom for the 21st century
This refined and truly unique bathroom remains greatly functional. The walk-in shower is an interesting concept that applies well in small spaces and allows access to the shower without obstacles or even a threshold.
Simple and user-friendly choices
The design of this bathroom is very simple. It is a bare bathroom, without any curtains or excessive accessories. The horizontal fenestration brings a great brightness while protecting the intimacy of the occupants. The linear wooden counter adds a warm touch to this zen concept. The horizontal mirror also visually enlarges the space and increasing the brightness of the area.
We carried out this work as part of a more complete renovation project including an extension where the bathroom was located.
3- Mercier-Hochelaga : A decluttered bathroom
The cramped space and dark hues of this windowless bathroom made the room even darker. The owners wanted to give their bathroom a new look and to declutter the space, but the constraints were considerable because it was out of question to enlarge the bathroom or to move the sanitary facilities.
A livelier space
In this case, the choice of products and accessories was decisive to create a more open, brighter and pleasant space. The glass divider and the white ceramic matching the bathtub and the countertop first made it possible to free up the space by making it brighter. Then, the use of a circular mirror and dynamic wallpaper helped to make the space more fluid and alive.
Now, the bathroom fits the needs of the homeowners who are pleased with the result.
Our works schedule was very tight in order to limit the inconveniences related to the works; after all, it was the main bathroom. Our team realized the whole project in just one month, without any unforeseen events or delays, all while respecting the established budget.
The quality of our works is our main concern and we always maintain good communication with our customers and a prompt response to their messages. The courtesy of our employees is also greatly appreciated as it helps maintain a good atmosphere during the work.

4- Rosemont : An airy Italian bathroom
The bathroom of this row house had been disigned with a corner bathtub that unnecessarily used a lot of space and a narrow shower in which it was difficult to move. The tub and shower needed significant fixes in both their design and their accessibility and maintenance.
Our team completely rethought the layout and the design to achieve a more open space and a contemporary appearance. The change is spectacular.
An Italian concept
With its Italian design, the bathtub shares a common space with the shower, which optimizes the available space while creating a very contemporary design.
The new layout now meets the owners’ objectives with its easy-access freestanding bath, its large ceramic shower, two sinks and a more airy space.
5- Ahuntsic : A personalized bathroom
Although in a rather recent and good condition, the bathroom in this condo building did not meet the taste of our client who wanted his bathroom to reflect his personality more. He liked the Georgian style very much and had even ordered his faucets before to make sure he had the right design with its gold finish.
The main challenge for the designer was to respect the style while adding a contemporary touch. For our technical team, the main challenge was to find a way to integrate a tub and a shower in the limited space available.
We also quickly noticed that pieces were missing for the installation of the imported customer supplied faucets and the delays in receiving these non-standard pieces were unreasonable. Our technical team was able to find a solution with other parts to do all the work in just 5 weeks.
An original success
The gold faucets were the initial element of the design. Our designer therefore chose matching hardware. The use of Muraluxe decorative wall panels in the shower really sets this bathroom apart. The use of a sliding door integrated into the partition also made the use of the bathroom more convenient.
The owner now feels at home because his bathroom is to his liking. It was the reason for the works and our team is proud of its accomplished mission.
6- Boucherville : Saying goodbye to the 1980s podium bath
The 80s podium baths took up a lot of space and their access was very inconvenient for cleaning it up or washing children. The owners of this house did not use it for many years. Instead, they dreamed of a pretty shower and an easily accessible bathtub.
An more functional space
By removing the podium bath we were able to clear enough space for a spacious shower and a bathtub that was both pretty, practical and comfortable.
Our designer knows all types of bathrooms with their advantages and disadvantages. We are here to guide you and to help you make a good investment in your work.

7- Ville Marie : An soothing bathroom
The old bathroom of this Montreal condo was cold and impersonal. The narrow tub did not meet the owner’s needs who only used the shower. They wanted a large shower, more storage and a Scandinavian spa design to give a soothing atmosphere to the bathroom.
Since it was a 1909 building with a concrete floor, the main challenge for our designer was to maintain the same layout for the sanitary so as not to have to move the plumbing.
An calming and fluid design
To obtain a Scandinavian design, our designer proposed to make the vanity, the mirror frame and the vertical storage in aged wood. A natural stone sink was also suggested to add a rustic spa touch. A few plants, a large glass shower and refined taps give the whole a design that is both contemporary and warm.
Given the lack of a window, the designer recommended a white ceiling and floor to illuminate the room. The installation of a large mirror also made it possible to reflect the light while visually increasing the space.
After only 4 weeks of work, our clients now enjoys the soothing and welcoming atmosphere of their bathroom. They finally feel more at ease in this fluid space which benefits from a large shower and well thought-out storage.
8- Montréal : The discreet charm of a 1930s condo – Domus finalist
Upon the purchase of their condominium, the new owners of this condo knew that they had to redo the bathroom and that it would be a problem. Indeed, the bottom of a staircase passed in the center of this small room, giving it an “L” shape. They called us for a turnkey project.
An remarkable old charm
Our designer realized that we had to take advantage of the staircase to give this room a character of yesteryear. We turned the “problem” into “opportunity”. It must be said that this architectural style was perfectly suited to the rest of this residence. The design of a room must take into account the entire housing so that it is well integrated.
It is advantageous for the owners to consult us as soon as they purchase their property for us to guide them in the logical steps of renovation.
9- Saint-Lambert : An bright and spacious and bathroom
At our costumer’s request, this bathroom with an adjacent laundry room has been designed to maximize the natural lighting. The windows have been enlarged and the choice of materials in white accentuates this effect of brightness.
A touch of wood for the warmth
An excess of white can make a room feel cold and impersonal. We have proposed, for this bathroom renovation project, to combine the white with a wooden cabinetterie for its warmth and personality. The vertical central cabinet and the horizontal wooden counter create a dynamic volume that completes each other while being very practical.
As a design and construction team, we are very satisfied with this simple, chic and contemporary result. Beauty is often in simplicity.

10- Mont-Royal : The WOW ! factor in the bathroom
With the popularity of glass showers on the market, it is increasingly difficult to create a “WOW” effect in a bathroom.
The challenge: respecting the budget
The owners asked us to renovate the two bathrooms of this cottage. They wanted a complete analysis of their needs, design and of the realization. They were looking for a bathroom concept that was both modern and warm.
A good collaboration between our design and estimation teams made it possible to achieve everything while respecting the fixed budget.
11- Laval : Saying «bye bye» to the acrylic shower
The acrylic shower and the podium bath are typical of the 1980’s bathrooms. The standard acrylic shower has the flaws of being relatively small and having a slippery floor. Our client wanted a larger and more stylish shower for his bathroom renovation project.
An glass and ceramic shower
A glass and ceramic shower unlike prefabricated acrylic showers, the ceramic shower with glass panels allows you to achieve the desired shape depending on the space available. Its ceramic floor is laid on a membrane that guarantees its waterproofness. It fits aesthetically in the bathroom and often becomes the center of attention.
The bathroom now has a totally different look that matches the image of its owner’s desire.
12- Petite Patrie : Beauty and efficiency in simplicity
The possibilities of transforming existing bathrooms are often dictated by their current walls and adjacent rooms. Despite these constraints, the appearance of a standard bathroom can be completely transformed by maintaining a simple and effective design.
An standard but warm design
In this residence, we had to renovate two bathrooms. We kept the standard linear layout by finishing the bathroom with a ceramic shower with a fixed tempered glass panel. This arrangement avoids any shower curtain. A large horizontal mirror gives the impression of enlarging this restricted space.
This bathroom is both simple and effective, showing that it is possible to obtain a luxurious appearance with a limited budget.
