2. Do you need a permit to renovate a house?
Yes, in many cases, a municipal permit is required, especially for structural work or additions. We handle these procedures for our clients if necessary.
3. Is it possible to stay in the house while the work is being done?
In most cases, yes, but it depends on the scope of the work. For major renovations, it may be safer and more convenient to temporarily move out of the house.

The cost of a kitchen generally depends on the materials and cabinets you choose. On average, a renovation can start at around $20,000 and go up depending on the quality of the finishes.
2. How long does a kitchen renovation take?
A kitchen renovation typically takes between 4 and 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and material lead times.
3. Can we keep the existing cabinets?
No. As part of our projects, we generally cannot keep the cabinets, since a complete renovation often involves replacing them. Only in very rare cases, depending on their condition and the existing layout, might we consider keeping them.

A bathroom can cost between $20,000 and $35,000 or more, depending on the materials and size. The price also depends on the plumbing and any necessary modifications.
2. What materials are recommended for a bathroom?
We recommend moisture-resistant materials such as ceramic, quartz, and waterproof panels to ensure durability and ease of maintenance.

1. How much does a home addition cost?
Unfortunately, when it comes to renovations, costs cannot be calculated on a per-square-foot basis, as each project is unique depending on the existing structure, accessibility, and the finishes chosen. It is therefore difficult to provide an exact price without analyzing the project.
That said, in 2026, a rear addition to a home typically costs between $280,000 and $350,000 or more, depending on the complexity of the work and the materials used.
2. Do I need a permit for an addition?
Yes, a municipal permit is required for any expansion. We handle the paperwork and permit application to simplify the process for you and ensure the project complies with all regulations.
3. How long will the expansion work take?
An expansion project can take between 6 and 12 months, including all the steps prior to the start of construction: obtaining bids, preparing plans, securing permits, selecting materials, and planning the construction site.
