- credibility and competence (number of years in business, mandatory permits and licenses, professional affiliations, complaint verification, etc.)
- solvency (verification of the company’s “financial health”)
- compliance (presence in the Registre des entreprises du Québec, bids, contracts and invoices, tax numbers, liability insurance)
- company reputation (survey by an external firm of the company’s clientele, including the quality of work performed and customer service, staff courtesy and call returns)
