Ecohabitation
MISSION
Écohabitation is a non-profit organization that facilitates the emergence of healthy, resource- and energy-efficient housing that is sustainable, affordable and accessible to all. It carries out its mission through promotion, awareness-raising, training and support activities aimed at the general public, housing sector stakeholders and political decision-makers.
VISION
By working in the ecological housing sector, Écohabitation is facilitating the emergence of a fairer, more economically viable society that tends to conserve and regenerate ecosystems. More concretely, Écohabitation aims to deploy :
- Healthy, resource- and energy-efficient housing, with a focus on quality and sustainability, affordable and accessible to all.
- Healthy communities, oriented towards human exchanges and local lifestyles, based on active and collective modes of transport, self-sufficient in food and energy and respectful of biodiversity.
- Common know-how in ecological housing through exchanges, mutual support and learning methods based on innovation, practice and experience.
- Policies and regulations that take greater account of the global challenges of green housing.
